CNC lathe part is the abbreviation of digital program control lathe, which integrates the characteristics of universal lathe, precision lathe with high machining accuracy and special lathe with high machining efficiency.

 It is a kind of CNC lathe part with the largest usage and the widest coverage in China.

Headstock (headstock)

The headstock is fixed on the upper left part of the bed. It transfers the rotary motion of the motor to the spindle, and drives the workpiece to rotate together through the fixture. By changing the position of the handle outside the box, the spindle can get a variety of forward and reverse speeds.

Feed box (big knife box)

The feed box is fixed on the left front lower side of the bed, and the rotation motion of the spindle is transmitted to the lead screw or light bar through the change gear. Changing the position of the handle outside the box can change the speed of the lead screw or light screw, so as to achieve the purpose of changing the pitch or feed rate.

Chute box

The slide box is fixed at the front side of the bed saddle, and along with the bed saddle, it makes longitudinal reciprocating motion on the bed guide rail. Through it, the rotation movement of the lead screw or the light screw is changed into the feed movement of the bed saddle and the middle sliding plate. Changing the position of the handle outside the box can control the longitudinal or transverse movement of the turning tool (movement direction, start or stop).

Change gear frame

The change gear frame is installed on the left side of the bed. It is equipped with an exchange gear (change gear), which transmits the rotation of the spindle to the feed box. By adjusting the gears on the change gear frame and cooperating with the feed box, the threads with different pitch can be turned.

tool carrier

The tool holder is fixed on the small pulling plate to install the seed preparation turning tool.

Trailer

The carriage includes four parts: bed saddle, middle slide plate, turntable and small slide plate. The bed saddle is installed on the outer guide rail of the bed and can move longitudinally along the guide rail of the bed; the middle slide plate can move transversely along the swallow tail guide rail on the upper part of the bed saddle; the small slide plate can move longitudinally along the swallow tail guide rail on the upper part of the turntable. After the turntable is rotated for an angle, the small slide plate can move obliquely with the moving cutter to turn the shorter inner and outer conical surfaces.

Tailstock

The tailstock is installed on the inner guide rail of the bed and can move longitudinally along the guide rail of the bed. The taper hole of sleeve on tailstock can be equipped with tools and auxiliary tools such as center, drill, reamer and tap, which are used to support workpiece, drill, ream and tap thread.

Bed

Bed is the basic support of lathe. It is fixed on the left and right bed legs, used to support the main parts of the lathe, and keep them in the relative position when they work. Two sets of guide rails on the bed provide accurate guidance for the longitudinal movement of the saddle and tailstock.

Screw

Lead screw is mainly used for turning thread, which is one of the main precision parts on lathe. In order to keep the precision of the lead screw for a long time, the lead screw is generally not used for automatic feeding.

Light bar

The light bar transmits the motion of the feed box to the slide box, so that the bed saddle and the middle slide plate can be automatically fed longitudinally and transversely.

Control lever

The control lever is one of the main parts of the lathe control mechanism. The left end of the control lever and the right side of the chute box are respectively equipped with a control handle. The operator can easily operate the handle to control the forward rotation, reverse rotation or stop of the lathe spindle.
